The Human Perspective
Interviews will be conducted with computer biologists, artificial biologists, experimental virtual reality researchers, computer simulations, art historians, artists, writers and experts from various other related industries, to conduct in-depth and meaningful discussions.
They will discuss Lov-Lov not only from their professional perspective but also from the perspective of their own life experience.
Some example discussion topics might include:
1, Do you think that humanity runs the risk of abandoning its own potential today?
2, If these very ideal Lov-Lov robots were affordably produced and put on the market, would you accept a robot lover to be your life partner?
3, Do you think Lov-Lov would perform well in the market? why?
4, Would you be willing to take the Lov-Lov pills for emotional needs?
5, Can human beings completely sever relationships with all other human beings(living beings) and live freely and happily? why?
6, Can humans coexist indeed peacefully with the "aware" machines they will eventually create? Do you think these machines would be more rational or reliable as leaders?
7, Super intelligent systems can have millions of thoughts and experiences every second. When our identities are increasingly shaped and presented in a digital forum, what are the long-term implications for our direct engagement with the world and others? What will be the role of humans?
8, Although Lov-Lov art project describes a relatively absurd future, what do you think will happen to the future of humanity in the widespread use of AI? Do you think that the issue of how to deal with the development of AI is becoming urgent? Why?
9, Recently, with astronomical amounts of data, algorithms, and computing power, AI has encountered unprecedented opportunities. Technology is getting incrementally more mature and ready for large-scale application. Where do you see artificial intelligence next going?
10. Machine control systems are gradually being applied in more and more areas of life. Scientists are using a large amount of training data to construct a computational structure similar to the neural network of the human brain. To analyze the world or to determine whether to turn on or off the machine by calculation, this mechanical learning visual algorithm is trying to build an efficient and advanced algorithmic system for human emotions and needs, and gradually improve accuracy, feasibility and eliminate prejudice. What problems and difficulties can you foresee?
11. Recently, with astronomical amounts of data, algorithms, and computing power, AI has encountered unprecedented opportunities. Technology is getting incrementally more mature and ready for large-scale application. Where do you see artificial intelligence going?
12. If almost anything was technologically possible, what element of human cognition and consciousness would be the most difficult to manufacture?
--- Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. (Greek phrase)
I want to draw attention to how our nature and unrealistic desires lend themselves towards creating a society where our needs can only be met through AI technology. I believe the absurd world that I am trying to describe is not far-fetched and may even be inevitable given modern society's economic and social values.
Instead of recognizing the dangers inherent in how we and our institutions function-and instead of taking steps to mitigate or avoid them, we are running full speed ahead toward them.
Collectively, I hope that in recognizing the absurdity of the questions posed by this work, viewers will come away from the exhibition questioning whether or not they are prepared to accept the perils that lay ahead instead of slowing down to truly consider what we really need to lead a meaningful existence.
